Many people are curious about my artistic process, often assuming I use mouthsticks due to common misconceptions about quadriplegia. It's a natural assumption, considering the inspiring stories of mouth-painting artists.

However, as a C5/C6 quadriplegic, I've developed unique techniques that utilize the remaining mobility in my upper body, specifically my slight wrist extension. This allows me to achieve a passive whole-hand grip, perfect for holding a paintbrush lightly.

I've customized my brushes with foam tape wrapped around the handle to enhance this grip and create a sense of finger movement. This innovative approach allows me to create art in a comfortable and effective way.
